Commitment
From our General Manager
Since the founding of JV International, we have always believed that building a more sustainable future requires leveraging human intellect and innovation to address the world’s challenges and offer effective solutions. This belief drives and inspires us every day.
The warning signs of climate change, plastic islands in our oceans, and the deterioration of coral reefs tell us that time is running out. We must act now. It’s clear that incremental change won’t suffice – we need to rethink how we live and work, pushing beyond established practices and known horizons. If we are serious about making a difference, we must fundamentally change not just our methods but also our mindset.
Recent global events – a pandemic, economic crises, supply chain disruptions, and conflicts we thought belonged to the past – have highlighted the fragility of our environmental, economic, and social systems. More than ever, the call for transformation in business and industry is urgent. But simply embracing change is no longer enough; bold and decisive actions are required if we are to achieve sustainability in our operations and our impact on the world.
At JV International, we recognize that achieving these goals is not always easy. However, we are committed to this path, knowing it is the right way forward. Our pursuit of innovation is always guided by a deeper and more comprehensive sense of sustainability, both in how we operate and how we interact with the world.
It is with this spirit that we present our first Sustainability Report, reflecting our commitment to transparency, responsibility, and continuous improvement. Our certifications, from EcoVadis to FSC, underscore our dedication to environmentally sound practices, ensuring that we not only meet the highest industry standards but also contribute meaningfully to the protection and preservation of our planet.
We are proud of the steps we have taken and are determined to do even more. We invite you to join us on this journey as we work toward a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
Sincerely,
Ambrogio Merlo
